Hi everyone,
I've been a wee bit of a lurker on the BHW forums for the past year and I've decided it's finally time to join and contribute. So, hello to you, no matter what part of this globe you are from.
An eon ago I was active on a bunch of forums; mainly beat boxing and gaming; non of which I unfortunately engage in any longer. I have now decided to re-engage and shall slowly introduce myself as I sip on my pre-noon plum brandy. No I'm not an alcoholic, but I removed my wisdom tooth one week ago and the pain has finally resided - it's time to celebrate.
TL;DR: Average bloke. Enjoys Nature. Been in the SEO game for a little over one year. Looking forward to contributing to BHW.
I was born in Belgrade, Serbia. Then at the age of 3 I moved to Sydney, Australia with bi-yearly visits back home. Now I'm back in Belgrade, working as a digital marketer and also have my own little project that I've kicked off.
In Australia I adventured all over the place. My favourite adventure was a 7-day road trip around the state of Victoria, during which I visited the Great Ocean Road and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. Some highlights from that trip include getting mugged by cockatoos, stranding a font-wheel-drive van in some mud, and steeling my "neighbours" firewood in the middle of a rainforest - good times.
As far as SEO is concerned, I started by reading a bunch of basic articles and slowly delved deeper. To be honest, I can't remember how I come across BHW, but it's a cool place. Anyway, once I realised that SEO is where it's at in terms of online marketing, I decided to kick-start my own little project. I eventually hit the first page for a few keywords and that's when I landed a job as an SEO marketer for an agency - good gig, to be honest.
Why I never joined BHW to begin with, is that no matter what post I read, I found that someone had already answered a question that was being asked. Though, in the interest of fairness, I think it's time I kind of signed up and did my best to contribute. The amount of knowledge in this community is nothing short of amazing, though. I think I'll struggle to be the first person to successfully answer your question.
