Do YouTube Ad views affect your ability to go viral?

This may be a fundamental question but do low retention ad views affect your overall retention score? Or because it's ad views it goes in a separate analytics criteria?

According to what i Know Ads Cannot Help you in any way to Make your Video video ! Its Just youtube who Got Paid from
those companies whos ads In Your Videos ! Nothing to do with Viral or Reachable or something

YouTube ad views don’t affect your ability to go viral if anything they might help your video go viral YouTube ad views are organic views alone is not the key to going viral it’s the combination of high-quality content and a strong sense of community that helps videos go viral this is because it’s easy to get lost in the sea of content online you can’t control if someone shares your content you can only control if you’ve provided content that’s worth sharing.

Just checking because I have had other people mention after running ads to get views for their video - their video performed worse than usual. Not sure if it was just for their account or generally.
