Do you wish you started younger?

IM is pretty much all I ever did all my life for money. Started when I was 14 or so and I'm now 24. I can't say its a good thing though. Even though I did have back breaking jobs part time, that probably was not enough...

>if you don't mind may I know how old are you
Nah, my comment already gave it away, turned 40 this year.

>jail vs. prison
Jail is typically local for misdemeanors, dui, domestic stuff on a county level. Time spent is overnight to several days or months.

Prison is generally state or federal level and almost always for years.

i wouldnt want to do IM permanently because i thinks its kind of unhealthy socially and mentally to spend all day staring at a computer screen on your own. Anyone done IM for 20 years +?

what do you reckon?

I started young but didnt have the motivation to succeed. Props to you kids in your teens that are putting your nose to the grindstone now. It took hitting my mid 20s to really take action along with embracing responsibility to light a fire under my ass.

When i was sent to jail for Protesting against Military Dictatorship in my country i was earning 40-65 $ a day on facebook in Jail i wished to spend that Time instead on marketing

It's certainly not for everybody, especially not highly extroverted people. I love it myself, been doing it 12 years.

As far as 20+ years, that's not really possible since the www has not been in existence that long. I don't think much was going on prior to 1995.

Jail = misdemeanor and/or sometimes felony crimes with sentences a year or less.

Prison = felony sentences lasting 1 year or more where you get ass raped by bubba.

Oh yeah

Feel like an idiot now :D

What type of IM would you have done?

Theres a lot of people in thier 30's and 40's on this forum and i was thinking if you started at say 14 when i did you would probably be millionaires or in jail :P
yea, a millionaire in jail

seriously: no, i'm totally fine with my starting age (24)

i think a 14 yo kid has to have more important things (e.g. first love) to do than worrying about business and sitting in front of a computer all day long, because telling the truth, this is what's is needed if you want to be successful in IM even if you have an army of bots and freelancers

yea...i quit high school my sophomore year (16) because IM was way more productive than classwork and man I gotta tell you- every ********ing day i get that feeling like... like i want to go back and use these last 2 years to be an average high school kid still... but, ******** it. My life is WAY better than most of the fools wasting away 6hrs a day chatting with each other at school making nothing of themselves.

I've learned IM is quite a lonely profession... lonely but gratifying~

I started relatively young *16* but was not well informed as the internet was still going through the geocities and tripod websites....would've been awesome if i had access to information that i do in this age. now i just dont have enough time to IM like i did back in High school...

lol I started at 13 but I posted on different forums, like learning how to get used on win98 haha...

No I wouldn't start any younger than I am now, trust me ;)

edit: and no I'm not a loser staring at my screen all day long. Automation is key.

jail is where you're waiting to be convicted and prison is where you do the time for your conviction or something
lol not really, jail is where you go to when you convict a small crime usually a couple of months at the most or so , kinda like shoplifting if you get caught many times, drunk in public, missing court and they arrest you for a warrant(if you dont have many other warrants and your conviction is somewhat minor).

Prison is where you get locked up 6 months, but usually years like atleast 1 year most of the time. These crimes are like dealing , attempted murder, arm robery . You know all those real crimes , where murders and rapists are at.

Custody is when you are awaiting trial and you are in a jail cell .

Sort of. I wish I knew what I know now, back then. I'd be a billionare.

To each is own lol

I did the same thing. I am banking, 16 years old and living a great life, but only those that are ready for it must do it. Not for everyone
