Do You View CommentLuv Sites as "Still Valuable" Or No?

I ask this because they've been well known backlink targets for quite some time now, every one I visit seems to be thoroughly spammed to hell. I'm wondering if there's any merit in commentluv blogs anymore or if Google has already put a nail in that coffin.Thoughts>

I think the CommentLuv variable is less important than the amount of spam present on the site itself. There are many blogs I would love to get a link from that use CommentLuv, but then there's many that don't moderate one bit and have 100 pharma/designer knockoff links that I would probably stay away from.
