Do you use voice search?

I dont use it, But, its definetely the future..

When is that future is gonna happend? no idea.

But in the future there will be 100% of the hauses full intelligent houses, including how to deal with the inet..

Its just the beggining of the future, its still a baby, but the younguer are using more voice than the adults.

And the young gets money and buy and get adult.

Definitely yes, even my 6 y/o son used it alot of times and it seems so cool voice search is fun!

I only use voice search when I want to play with Google Assistant. I don't think 50% would happen even in the next 2 years.

Voice search would in my opinion only increase that much when/if we start using our smartphones less. That is if we live a more hands-free life. But as it stands our phones are very much held tightly.

Another thing is, actually typing out what we're searching for adds more precision compared to when you have to say it out, these assistants and search engines are not always good at understanding what we meant.
 
I use it from time to time, really helpful when I'm doing a ton of work and multitasking, I can see it gaining in popularity when other services use voice too

If someone isn't look at a screen and uses voice search how is Google deciding what brand include in the reply? I see this working for "hey good where is starbucks" accounting for a lot of the searches.

People DO look at the screen, lol. A lot of the times, Siri will read off the results though and ask which business you want to call.
 
No, i don't want google to AI profile my voice, it would be foolish to think they're not doing this
 
I'm calling BS on that stat, but voice search is definitely growing. How are you planning to optimize for it?

I get the skepticism! While exact stats can vary, there's no doubt voice search is on the rise. google approach to optimizing for it includes focusing on natural language queries, featured snippets, and structured data
 
I've only used voice search when I'm extremely busy. I still have the mindset that it's more accurate if you type it manually lol.
 
Glad you asked this, was wondering the same thing tbh. I’m a newbie who just started exploring this last week and feeling a bit unsure where to start.
 
Every time new tech comes out, they always say it's going to disrupt everything.

When smart home devices came out, they said no one would search things in their browser and everyone would be using voice search and assistant searches to get everything. We're here more than +5 years later and people are still searching within their browser for queries.
