My question is about the images inside blog post content. You can put your keyword in the image file name and also in the alternate text of the image, but inserting your keyword in a title tag of the image is that will not be too much? Does using title tag on images helps in terms of seo?

Yes I usually use the title and alt tag, I also try to make sure the image has a relevant name.

You can but remember to include longer descriptions for your images with a keyword. Many make the mistake of not naming their files before they upload them to WordPress. At the end of the day alt tag, description, and image file name are the most important for media.

I throw my primary or LSI keyword in my title and alt tags, although sometimes I add a more detailed alt description.

Search engine can't read image, they read by content, alt and title
so don't forget to put it on image... also build link too

Yeah I like to use both. Maybe make the alt tag and title tag slightly different, but definitely use them both.
