Aside from using Google Trends, Google News, Facebook Trends, and Twitter Trends, I'm also using Quora for research. I know some would say that everything on Quora is highly-opinionated. There are conversations on Quora that are backed by research. I find Quora helpful because it helps us (in my content writing business) in creating the plot of the story that we would like to tell in our article. It gives us an idea on what other people think about a certain topic. Thus, it helps us write with a conversational tone.

I hope you'll find this helpful. Who else is using Quora as a resource?

i do for some articles, like you say it's good for opinions people have.

I'm always using them as a resource to write articles as they are amazing to read and some of them are unique

I use Q&A sites for 2 things; to confirm what I found in my research with the top 10 search results for each keyword we target in a piece of content, while taking a look at popular questions that need to be answered that hopefully mirror and add to what we find on www.answerthepublic.com

yes i agree they are a good read, some funny opinions sometimes. I do get a bit involved reading and can spend more time than i should, an article can take ages when i do it :)

I don't really use it for research but I do like reading the stuff on Quora. Some articles are well thought out, whether it be someone's opinion or not.

Hi, @jbilyj42. It's good to know that you're a fellow user of answerthepublic.com. It's a good resource when outlining the content of the article.

Agree i dont use it for research but i like to read Q&A on Quora, they are very interesting specially political ones.

Quora is my favorite. I support the idea to use it for searching for interesting themes you can post on your blog.

Me too, I use QUORA in writing some of my articles, you can find different opinions, though I use the positive ones only,
It's also very interesting reading it as well.

Hi, @Alexis Gil and @Frapcino! Do you guys write your own blog posts everyday, too?

Quora is like one of the best websites i've discovered for writing articles. I came across Quora by chance, not that i don't or have not heard about them before, but i did came across it on google search engine, and boy, was i impressed. There are lots of opinions shared by their users which was highly educative, opinionated, but it's worth it.

AND yes, i used them for doing heavy researches.

I'm tried translate some posts to russian from Quora and add to my blog. But these posts have not caused such interest that I was expecting. So I stopped to translate them.
But I still read Quora every week.

Hi, @samcram. Perhaps, the thread of conversation that you translated didn't fall in the area of interest of your target audience. What's the niche of your blog, if I may ask?

does people really have benefit in seo for fb anf twitter trends?

Hi, @mahawebhosting. I'm sorry, but I didn't get what you're trying to ask. Nonetheless, I would suggest that you open a new thread for that so that other members who have an idea to share can join the conversation. Your post is already the 16th post of this thread. It's less likely for readers to notice your question.

I hope that helps.
