Do you use passwords managers? Is Firefox password manager enough?

I'm using LastPass, and I'm really satisfied with it,
I don't even know the passwords I'm using on any website except the master password.

For passwords, I would be afraid if I used an opensource solution to generate and store my passwords especially on my computer,
LastPass will always have a backup of your data, and if something happens to your account they will provide you access to your data anytime you ask for it.
It's been a long time using it, I never found any trouble with it.
I use sticky notes, and attach them to my desktop table or monitor.
That away I never forget my passwords!
On a serious note, I think you could use an encrypted sdcard for that.
Just store the passwords inside the encrypted card as plain text files, and plug/unencrypt the sdcard when you need to use them.

Yep I already use encrypted containers to store my files, but I was thinking about using a password manager for my browser passwords.
Anyway I will continue with firefox password manager, I am using a master password and I read everytwhere that it's a safe solution, especially since firefox updated the hash method of the master password recently.
@gambler, I read Lastpass was hacked a few times ago, and always go for opensource solutions when available. Anyway it's just me. Thanks for sharing

I use LessPass, there you set so called "master password" from which other passwords are generated, open source and generates all passwords locally. Really great thing, maybe try it out if it suits your needs.
I would not trust any addon/extension or Firefox password manager to be honest with you mate.

Lastpass works wonders for me. You can also get all your passwords on any new computer you setup really quickly - just download the app and signin.

Firefox is pretty good, i’ve used it myself, but i mainly use lastpass now. Even with the latest bug, i use it because of the cross device functionality. So i don’t have to manually look up saved passwords and enter it manually.

Yes their cross device functionality is very tempting indeed, but I don't like the fact they are hacked regularly. Anyway they react very quickly by patching the exploits, that's a very good point for them.

I uses google password manager for my laptop and iPhone keychain for mobile password.
