Do you use multiple registrars for PBN?

So I just bought some PBN domains to try out.

Im a backlink buying person, so I don't have experience in PBNs as of now.

Do you put your PBNs on the same registrar or do you only do different hosting, but same registrar?

I ended up registering 1 domain on one registrar, money site on a second and 4 other domains on namecheap with some kind of privacy option, which I assume will hide whois info.

This gonna work, or should I transfer to different registrar in addition to different webhosting?

Personally, it won't be an issue for a few domains, but once you start growing, it's always a good idea to use more domain registrars.

It would look strange if you have 20 PBNs, and 15+ out of those are Namecheap, all whois protected. Get some domains on Godaddy since they're so popular, and go for namesilo, name.com and dynadot. They're all similarly priced anyway so might as well take the extra step and stay safe.
 
Not an issue, just use whois privacy.

I do not believe that it would look strange if they were all at namecheap, because there are MILLIONS of people that use godaddy/namecheap/enom. But I guess better safe than sorry?
 
Its upto you but i will recommend it to use different registrar. It always look a little bit safer.
 
So basically its not automatically devalued, like if they would be same IP?
 
I vary up the registrars and hosting providers, but only to a point. A small PBN is a drop in the ocean and will probably go unnoticed. But if you scale it up you'll need to diversify.

Agreed, diversity would be key if you have a wide range of resources like that. For protection.
 
If you build a small PBN you don't have to, but if want a big one you should use few of the biggest domain registrars.
 
Spread it out, but you're more likely to run into a footprint with your hosting IP ranges, nameservers, and whois information than you are with a registrar.

Are you managing the PBN yourself or using a VA ?

Look at using different registrars, a mix of privacy, fake names, mixed hosting companies, different IPs etc but as your PBN gorws you need to ensure you are organised enough to keep on top of all these things.
 
I haven't got a pbn as such, but I have 3 websites one on each, godaddy, fasthosts and 1&1. Not sure why I hosted separately, one travel blog and two review sites.
 
Even though millions of sites are registered with namecheap and godaddy, I personally believe in the mantra, "you can never be too safe". I would register each on a different registar, use different names and contact details, use different hosting provider for each site in your pbn. I suppose you could just use WhoIS Guard so scratch the second part :D
 
I agree that diversifying is important, even as an extreme precaution. One of the biggest problems that people starting out make, is to 'play it by ear' and not plan for the long term. If you have a little bit of ambition, you want to think big. As far as your specific case, mix it up as much as you can. The easiness of tracking stuff by consolidating works against you when you start hitting short term targets, as you can't go back and replan it. If you have the luxury of different names that you can use, do it, if you can't mix your name with private whois and fake info for the less important domains; of course, use different registrars as much as reasonably possible. This is just to reduce the chance of raising red flags, nothing is 100% safe...Good luck!
 
Why not just use a cheap vpn done.

register a domain from godaddy,

hide it from google
