Do you use hashtags when posting?

Hey, so I thought it would be interesting to see how many people use hashtags and how many vs how many people use no hashtags at all.

I've personally just stopped using them recently in order to make my profile look less spammy but the drop in likes is very obvious and I'm tempted to go back to using them. What are your thoughts?

If you have a big following I recommend using tags for the fact you could get to the 'Top Posts' in that tag which might bring in more followers from your target audience.
If I use tags though I normally post them on a separate line to my caption text to make it look a bit smarter and less spammy.

Thanks for replying, my accounts are only small (1-2k) each. How many tags do you use? Only a few or the full 30?
 
I use them in the first comment with this format

"

.
.
.
.
25 #hashtags
"
this way it shows in the feed only as
myaccount: [...]
since i usually average 50 comments it doesnt look too spammy at all plus I get into "Top posts" a lot so I'll definitely keep using them.

Exactly Hash-tags give more followers .

I usually use less than 30, I try to stay relevant to what my post is in relation to so I can't often get close to 30 tags, I normally average at around 4- 10 tags personally.

Yeah this is what I've been trying to do by using blank lines but apparently they don't work. Thanks for this I'll try this layout and see if they're visible or not!

Edit: any specific reason for 25 hashtags? Why not 30?

Hashtags help for everything :D this site tagsforlikes com can give you some nice tags depending on your keyword :D
 
I suggest you use the hastag.

Hastag will appear on instagram, the last delivery.
And on facebook you can reach the number 1 search facebook.

I just played with facebook, less steeped instagram

this layout def works or just try the notes app on iphone like me it works just fine. and i dont want to use tags that have nothing to do with my niche so usually I dont reach the full 30.
 
What kind of question is this lol, of course, everyone is using them...
 
I use them, but I only use one otherwise it looks too spammy to my followers. If you see a post with tons of hashtags on an established account, it looks awful.
