Do You Use Google Analytics/Webmaste Tools On Your Blackhat Sites?

I was wondering if Google collects data from this which affects our rankings?

I used to use them on my BH site before october, and since I removed them I'm seeing a decline in my serps..

Does it affect SEO or not?

I don't know... but it think it does not affect the site much.
But if you are going to build a super huge seo empire, I wouldn't do it because that would leave a large footprint.
 
Google analytics and webmaster tools may collect some infos about your visitors like time on page, time on site,... And I think that may affect a little your SERP in google.
Btw I use them on most of my websites :p
 
Yes, I use them on all my sites. I have noticed that if you don't, it takes a bit longer to index sites, and get them to rank well.
 
I agree - if you are about to do BH i suggest to get a different account for those sites.

Don't want to mess with the big G

I would definitely not use anything from Google on your BH site unless you want them to know everything you are doing.

That's asking for trouble.
 
I have a few of my BH sites (autoblogs) in webmaster tools just as a test. Keeping it very seperate from all my other stuff. so far I have actually received an increase in serps, but have only been doing this 2 months. I have a friend who is doing very BH stuff and has his sites in webmaster tools and has been doing this for 2 years and still hasn't had trouble. Previous to talking to this friend, I have always been very anti webmaster tools and analytics on your BH stuff. Anyway I will let you all know how it goes in a few months time.
 
If you are doing bh dont use analitics.....

In my experience i have sites with analitics and sites without,and dont see any difference in serps.
 
I love webmaster tools because under Search Queries it shows exactly where you're ranked for a lot of your keywords. I also use Piwik, a free webstats program, to keep track of my visitors and their referrers on a daily basis .
 
I am paranoid I do not even log into my normal google iGoogle account when visiting my blackhat sites!

I know it won't make a difference but better safe than sorry I guess.

I think the general pulse is to stay away from using any webmaster tool on your blackhat site. Even if it is safe today, i'm sure the big G would one day try to use their tools against us...lol. Moreover, there are alternatives analytic tools.

I just started using analytics, it is very useful compared to what I have for Wordpress.

I have been using webmaster tools for a long time, no effect at all. I blast my site like crazy :P

I have analytics on all my sites and have no any problems.
