Do you use different hosting accounts for different sites ?

I mean, there are good and there are crappy and some are penalized sites on my hosting account.
Do you think that has a negative effect ?
As far as i know, google penalizes for interlinking sites from one hosting account but is there something more to it ?

if you've been banned you must change all your old id to new your id for google wont be banned you...
 
I have not been banned, but what id are you talking about ?
 
Answering your original question, yes - anyone who's serious about making a living online (meaning, at the mercy of Google) would do well to have multiple hosting account. Atleast one good one for all the money sites and one for all experimentation sites.
 
I personally used to use the add-on domains feature of Cpanel and never found reason to be concerned over how added-on sites appear to see bots or users.
 
Hosting accounts are just one side of the coin. Location of server, dns records and whois are as imprtant. And this is valid for a domain's entire history. If one of the records matched 7 years ago, it's all not working out, because more footprints are visible to expose entire networks.
 
I don't know of any evidence that having a penalized site on the same IP will have a "spillover" effect and hurt the rankings of the other sites. If I remember correctly I remember hearing somewhere that Google has said this is false... but don't quote me on that. With that being said, I would start with a clean slate on a new hosting account and use cheap $1 hosting for sites you wanna mess around with.
 
there are zillions of websites using shared hosting/shared ip address
 
I use one account until it is full, then get another. I think that perhaps you are overthinking the little things. Google knows most sites are on shared servers and that some good servers will host shitty sites and not penalize other sites on that shared site. A few interlinks isn't going to cause a problem either. That said creating a link farm on a single shared host account isn't clever, but this doe not need to be stated does it? 1) Build your sites 2) Build your quality links 3) Profit

i use one account... and I have 40 + sites hosted here...
 
Although I have never noticed any problems with having multiple domains on one hosting account, (I have 3 domains per account), I do have multiple hosting accounts with 3 domains each. I never build more than 3 websites per hosting account and I never link between sites on the same hosting account.

you can create separate accounts,, i will sound better
 
Why not just use a reseller account? I have a reseller with Hostgator and i'm migrating over to host9. With host9 you can decide what part of the country or world you want your ip from and this way, each site has a different IP address. I also change out my dns so the name servers are not all the same.
