It's been a good laptop (for power) but had nothing but trouble with the screen and hinges.

Most days the screen doesnt come on.

I have to keep powering off the laptop and turning it back on until the screen decides it wants to come on.

I would never buy another MSI laptop.

For a lot of jobs laptop is more than enough, but for many including myself having a large ass screen just makes it so much more productive, for example looking at CSV files, databases or just having several text files besides each other.
And god bless those people who have to work with audio/video editing on a laptop
