I tried Surfer SEO this week and I found it very useful.

The SERP Analyzer shows easily what you need to rank: content or links.

But for most of the competitors pages, surfer seo recommends many same website like this:

Do you think this kind of links are powerful ?
And do you know a linking service here at BHW for this kind of links ?

Regards

With surfer you can hide those sites that you know will screw up your research
Most of those links are sold in the marketplace

It proposes that 'cause some of your competitors have one, but you don't have to.. And sometimes, it's just a profile link or a nofollow one, I think you should focus on your linking strategy ;)

Ok, that's was my question because i began to build backlinks with guest posts.

Thanks for your answer

It's just to help you by providing you your competitors backlinks with best DA, but DA is chit.. Since sometimes they are nofollow, and sometimes the URL Rate is chitty as possible.. Keep focus on your strategy mate ;)
Guest post is the best way to do it cause it's contextual & content links.. Most of these websites are usually profile backlinks and stuff, which are more less effective than incontent links ! Keep going ;)

I think the best way to use your competitors backlinks is to put their URL on Ahref to find all their backlinks, export the CSV, filter it by domain, not URL.
When you go to excel, filter all the nofollow since they are easy to get and won't interest you.

- Ctrl+F "forum" to see if there is any good forum on your niche who allow dof0llow links.
- Keep looking for less obvious ones ;)

If you don't have ahref, just use the 7$ trial for 7 days, but wait until you're sure you have all you competitors URL & have time to study them within these 7 days.

Enjoy !

Thanks for your reply.

I will focus on content and guest posts. ;)

overall I think that Surfer SEO is worth a try. If you decide all sides then It’s definitely not perfect. And could use some UI work. But if you’re looking for a tool to help you optimize your content, you really can’t go wrong with Surfer.
