I've always liked Firefox. Looks good and works stable. I don't know about privacy and security though.

Chrome is way so better, I have had issues with Firefox (I'm totally not sure) how my strongest passwords got hacked until I was using firefox, so I switched to Chrome beta which works great on all conditions, as well as opera sometimes as it offers free VPN so yeah both are good for me.

unless you can build you own web browser, the sad reality is that all browsers collect data :/

UnGoogled Chromium based browsers are best. I use Iron Browser, in several portable app iterations. Brave is good, but subject to the issues others have mentioned. I believe the Dissenter browser created by Gab is also Chromium based without the Google junk.

Who do you think invested heavily to promote "Firefox Quantum"?

I use Waterfox and am pretty happy with it.

I use firefox simply because if it disappears chromium will be a complete monopoly

Much more then Chrome yes i thought nowadays they opt you in for privacy much more then google ever will.
