It depends a lot upon your ability and choice.
Some people earn passive income by Google Adsense, some earn by Affiliate products, Some earn by Youtube, some earn by making and selling courses while some people sell the SAS products.
What are you good at?
Only because someone is earning $$$ by doing some online business doesn't mean that you can exactly replicate his success even if you know his methods.
Take some time to learn the tips and techniques from BHW members, then decide what you want to do.
Last and a very important advice : Play on your own strength, not someone else's.

Of course you have to invest time, efforts and money to build a website before it starts earning revenue but once it starts and reaches to some stable amount you can decide to divert your efforts to other projects. Even an hour or two's work a day may be sufficient to earn passive adsense income.
Yes this income fluctuates. But you can always try other methods to stabilize your revenue like affiliate, etc. There are many other ways.
Very less such methods actually exist. All require some amount of work.

Just Pick one niche and get grinded with it , you would not regret and at end become succeeded , many would say to get into every niche , but having expertise in specific niche is rare !

Nothing is 100% passive but you paid for your past labour like put up a website for SEO or putting up a Youtube channel
