YouTube pushed some simulation hypothesis videos on me.

So basically our reality could be the result of some simulation and everything in the universe is just simulated.

The Matrix is real, perhaps.

Thought provoking idea though.

What do you think?

I don't think we're living in a simulation, but many times it does feel like we're living in the Matrix :)

there is a bot that will judge our lives after the end...if we were a good boy we will to a better simulation after this one, if we were to a bad boy, we will to a worse simulation
 
Well, I tried to exit the simulation yesterday by pressing Alt+F4 but all it did was close my browser. Tried unplugging and plugging myself back in too - still stuck here paying taxes and watching cat videos.

If this is a simulation, the devs need to seriously patch these bugs:
  • Money doesn't duplicate when I copy and paste it
  • My character keeps getting older despite having no cheat codes
  • Coffee sometimes tastes like dishwater
  • Can't find the settings to turn off Monday mornings
Maybe we're just an advanced version of The Sims and somewhere, a giant being is wondering why their character keeps checking BHW instead of doing something productive.

While they are pushing hypotheses about some matrices on us, THEY are rummaging through our pockets and raising taxes.

They are forcing us to believe in various UFOs and matrices...and at the same time they are filling their pockets with gold...
 
Most probably yes.

But I am more interested in knowing why there is something instead of nothing.

Hmmm.

It may just be true. My idea is that we don't truly have freewill even though we think we do.
 
I dont agree with the terminology and definitions or think we are exactly, but Elon thinks we live in simulation and makes a compelling argument for it
