Do you think this is a good keyword ?

Hi there!
I'm struggling to make a MNS site, and right now I'm starting w/ keyword research. Probably I'll made it in the gaming niche.
I've found some keywords but I don't know if they're good to start...

This keyword has a broad result of 74,000 and an exact result of 4,400.
Also it has practically no competition.

I'm planning on using it as my main keyword, what do you think?

You pose a great question, but with the limited information provided, I think most would respond... need more data.

You can start with this keyword when you think you can beat your competitor on Google ! Look your competitor on Google before starting !

you can use market samurai to get more information about the keyword,don't choose high competitive keyword when you get start,once you finish choosing,build and add high quality backlink and content to it,you will find many useful thread here about SEO,keep learning

The best way to know is to try it, so go ahead and build a MNS or better yet an authority site around your niche keyword.

1 word of caution is that having a really low competition is not always the best way to go though, as that means that there are literally no bidders willing to pay for putting an ad campaign within your niche...but again test it, if it works, rinse & repeat...if not it's always a good learning lesson.

Using less competition keyword is not a good idea. It means less people only searching for it in net. Go for high competition keyword. Build a site around that keyword, do some SEO work and work hard on the quality of content. It will work out.

Good luck, the niche your going into seems to be a difficult one but well worth it if you can make it work

You aren't going to make any money thinking about it, just make the site. A keyword like that seems ok for a first MNS. Once you get some confidence from ranking it, move on to harder keywords.

First of all, I don't think it's a low competitive keyword as it's game niche, Double check it before you proceed. And as you know the competition mentioned in adwords keyword tool means advertisers competition NOT SEO competition. As TheContentAuthority said, Long tail keywords for the first time researches.

Gaming niche? I don't know what criteria you use in determining your keyword but the last time I checked the competition is a no go area for SEO bot users or noobs.

You are right, it's a no go area. Competition must be high, I don't know how OP said it's low competition.
