hi everyone
I want some feedback from anyone in the adult/data/automation space.
So I come from the adult industry – worked around content, affiliate stuff, OF, etc. As many of you know, sites like Pornhub, XVideos, and others actually provide public CSV database dumps of their entire embed/video metadata (titles, tags, models, views, etc). Great if you're building an websites, or discord, telegram bots, but the CSVs are massive we’re talking 10+ million rows and around 18GB uncompressed, and kind of a pain to work with unless you’re technical. Even opening the file crashes Excel. I am building a platform that processes those giant CSVs into a fast searchable with pagination, filtering, SQL export, and JSON/XML/SQL converters. I know tons of converters exist but this if for the NSFW market

is this idea worth going after?, i already built a MVP for my portfolio? love for some feedback on this

10m+ row CSV file lol - how are you going to parse it? Also, what's your plan to monetize the data? I feel like people would be able to get adult content easily via scraping or using tools like JDownloader - at least thats what I've done when I had an adult tg channel

its already able to parse the data without slowing down the browser or my server by chunking the file, the thing with scrapping is that is "technically" stealing content from sites you can easily get DMCA, with the csv dumps from the major platform they provide that for free while using there metadata, this way you wont be DMCA at all, (I know this becuase i have ran 6 sites with the embed never had an issue)
 
Contact people that would actually use the product and ask them if they would be interested
 
Your business idea is great, but I have to think about it for a while because I don't really understand it.
 
If you make it easy to use, this could save a ton of time for a lot of adult industry pros

i have made a drag drop UI, with readable table, idk if i can share any UI pics, i have been researching, this can be used for any project for example you can make a TikTok type scroller app with the porn data, Discord, telegram bots, or use the data and create a AI bot that recommends you porn based on ur conversation idk, also doesnt have to be for porn, ill keep researching
 
so far the prcing i have done with research going to free under 1gb, above that 12$ a month this covers all my cost or my i am thinking a one time lifetime payment
 
Try to get some paying clients first and then it will give you more confidence.

How big is the market of these converters ? What are the leaders in this market and how much is their share ? What is their positive aspect and do you think you can beat them limited capital and one man army ?
