Do you think this domain could be worth anything?

A domain is worth as much as someone's willing to pay.

If I was offered to buy it, I'd decline because I don't do too much in the tech field and I believe you could run into some legal issues as Yahoo! probably owns rights to the name.
 
As far as im concerned, If legal issues we're a problem, It wouldn't have been available in the first place ;). But thanks for the input. Just curious what it could be worth, Saw it and decided to pick it up.

That's just not how it works. You might want to look into trademark and cybersquatting laws before investing in too many more domains.
 
Like i said, I'm not worried about legal issues, As far as a Cease and desist letters goes, It's not legally binding. It's nothing but an opinion from an attorney representing someone else hoping to scare you into submission in order to avoid a possible expensive lawsuit.. Most C&D orders lead to nothing at all, Especially if no one can find you. But all of that aside, I was just asking what you guy's think it 'could' be worth. So let's stay on that topic, Please. ^_^
 
You can't separate what it could be worth from the legal issues. You lose potential buyers due to the cloud of trademark issues, thus cutting down the demand for the domain, which directly effects its potential worth. Having said that I would think that it is not worth much if anything.
 
Yeah there's probably a reason this domain was still available--not exactly a great domain to build a business on--so wouldn't say it's worth a whole lot.
 
Obviously you're new to domains. LBrown is right. It doesn't matter what you "think", but how things really are. Domains such as yours are not sent C&D letters, they're taken from you

name is worth $0 and maybe even less than $0 due to trademark issues.
 
What happened to those transfered doamains? Are the admins getting sued or are they simply taken from you and everything ends there?
