Used to hang out there a lot pre-chatgpt. Was popular for general discussion, entertainment and also academic and troubleshooting stuff.

Now i’ve noticed that even if subscriber count is high, user engagement os conpartarively low conpared to post-covid time.

Also, it’s gone from being top of serps, esp for q&a to barely even on the radar on serps, comparatively.

Is ot slowly dying?

currently it is the top18 website with the most visits on the internet, it certainly won't die anytime soon

No, is not dead, but is having a rought time with all the chatgpt thing and now charging for the use of the API, right now is having a rought time but it might recover.
 
Ofcourse it's dead, infact, reddit isn't working anymore
 
Moved over to twitter a few months back, but still sometimes browse through Reddit, it is still active community..

Depends on what you're using reddit for.

If using it to promote content, products or affiliate links to redditors alone, you'll still struggle with the issues we've always faced on that platform.

But if it's to be used as parasite, then it's certainly not dead and very far from from it.
 
Never. It's a social media platform for the most part.
It doesn't need Google to thrive

15-20 paid subs to OF a day with my bot to a girl, I would say still thriving. If u do it manual, yeah, would not advise to.
