Should I even be using an ipad to make money online or do you think a real computer would help me be more efficient? Anyone else use an ipad to make money online? What do you guys use?

Real computer is a huge leap forward if doing a lot of clicking and writing, but I do use a tablet for some stuff, but all the 'heavy lifting' is done on a PC.
So to answer your question, of course you can use iPad to make money online, but a proper computer will make the work easier and faster imo.

It really depends on what you do. I usually code programs, and ... I need a computer. I use my iPad just for learning new stuff (read books or watch tutorials).

Lol I guess that's why I mostly use yahoo answers because of my limited abilities with the tablet, but I guess 30k so far this year isn't too shabby, well atleast the ipad doesn't really freeze up which can be a big time killer.
I use a bog standard carrot.
Oh and no, I would not even consider using my tablet to do anything related to IM.
