Do you think is possible to sell websites built like this ?

Hello

I’ve stole this idea from a former friend. Is it possible to create website for coaches and copywriters, speakers poor people and bottom feeders for 200$ on wix. I talked to Wix and they said I can create 999 websites on a subdomain for my prtoflio. I’m thinking about doing about 5. I’ve also talked to a friend who’s in the real estate business. But he told me why would someone pay you and not do them their selves. I have mixed feelings. Do you think it’s possible to build and sell wix websites for 200-400$ simple websites for people who can’t afford or don’t want to pay 3000$-5000$. I’m looking for those bottom feeders who want to just send some Facebook and Google AdWords to a website to see if they can get some business. Real beginners who want to see what they can do with a small cheap website and then they can move on to a proper website designed by one of you guys.

Please let me know all advice is welcomed thanks

if they're poor they won't pay $200 for a website.

Also, if you're good at selling you can sell anything to anyone because being good at selling means knowing how to push emotional buttons, and when you do that correctly most people will cave in, so you will sell to them whatever garbage they don't even need...

Im bad at sales. I tought that Poor people might buy a cheap wix website . Also there are etnics behind and not to sell them something they dont need. But eveybody needs an online pressence
 
Even I had that idea but it turns out if they're too cheap to buy a domain, they're too cheap to pay for anything
 
I thought the same, but I realized that if someone won’t invest in a domain, they’re unlikely to spend on anything else either.
 
Finding someone who pays 200 dollars per website is not easy.

If you can find clients like than its better to give them domain (its 14 dollars usually)

Also if you dont know how to make website in wordpress just pay someone start (you can find under 100) and try to learn making yourself.

With good service you are still earning 80 dollars per project. Seems like you are confident in finding clients so . 80*30 =2400 monthly
 
Why target $200 sales when you can target $5000-$25000 sales.

Get good at what you do, AI is available to everyone.

Nothing more than your mindset blocking you.
 
If you have to ask, you probably can't do it. Focus on things that you don't need to ask advice about. Thats when you have a better chance and greater insight. (You've proven you understand if you do it this way. As you can't expect OTHER people to prove an understanding to you can you?)
 
I don't know who is paying $3000-$5000 for simple wix websites. I also don't know who are these poor, destitute, bottom-feeder a who can pay $200-$400 for a website. If you believe in this, it's better to work a little harder to find those rich people paying thousands for each website and provide them monthly maintenance for a fee. If you outsource the work, it'll be a lot of passive income.
 
Just use a simple AI website creator. Told your customers you give them away for free and take a commission from the hosting costs. Did this maybe 15 years ago with newspaper ads and without ai. If I am right I found this method here on BHW on the early years. I used hostinger affiliate program. I don't have time for it anymore but its a very easy method to make money nowadays.

If you can find clients who are willing to pay $400 for a website then it is great .

Instead of creating website on your subdomain , you can add a domain name + hosting in this $400 package , still you will be left with profit .

1) You can buy webhosting package for around $75 per year (and you will host all your client's website there)

2) For each client you can buy a Domain Priced at : $10 - $13

3) For a website you can hire a website developer easily who will charge you around $100 for 4-5 page website

So even after paying the developer , hosting charged you will still be left with more than $200 in profit .

Simple: because they value their precious time higher than saving $200-400. So yes, you may find customers for your designs.
 
All you need to do is not sell websites to people who don't have money. The most important thing in web design is not how beautiful you can make a website, but how well you can sell it.
 
There are your customers in every audience, of course, try it, even 10 poor people out of 100 will make you an income of 2k - 4k$.
 
Yes some people will pay for speed not skill. Many small biz hate building sites even if its easy.

Just show few demo sites and some will buy.
 
its better to sell hosting as an affiliate than trying to sell a website,let them built the site themselves :)
 
Find a need and offer a solution. Don't overthink the product before validating the business model. Get out of your head and give it a shot. You'll hear a lot of opinions, but maybe none have tried what you're attempting in your specific context.
 
Yes it is absolutely possible. Many small business owners coaches and freelancers do not want to build their own websites even if Wix is easy to use. They are willing to pay someone else to save time and avoid the hassle.
However it is better to avoid terms like bottom feeders. A more professional way to describe your target audience would be startups beginners or small business owners.

If you can provide the following for $200–$400:
  • A professional looking design
  • Basic seo setup
  • A mobile friendly website
  • A contact form and essential pages
then there is definitely a market for your services.

The reality is that you are not just selling a website you are selling your time experience and convenience. Anyone can learn to build a website but not everyone wants to spend their time doing it.
 
the real problem with cheap clients isn't that they don't have 200 bucks, it's that they are usually a complete nightmare to deal with. the ones paying the least always demand the most revisions and expect you to be on call 24/7. if you're bad at sales, trying to convince broke people to part with their money is going to burn you out fast. also... please don't use wix subdomains. it looks super unprofessional and won't help them get any actual business from those ads. if you want to go this route, use something like carrd for quick landing pages, put it on a cheap custom domain, and sell it as a quick setup package. but yeah, you're better off finding local service businesses who actually have a tiny budget.
