Do you think that the more your videos hit the explore page the more likely instagram will promote your future videos to the explore or do you think that all content are treated equally?

Not necessarily. Instagram will promote your post on Explore feed based on amount of interactions your post is getting during the short time when the post was published.

Viral content gets a lot of likes and comments easily so it will easily hit explore page compared to basic content.

Yes I think that is so, I always see the same account's posts going viral within a niche.
