Or at least a part of it.
Currenty the search is full of spam and low-quality sites (worse than before the update) so do you think it will reverse the update in the near future?

I think a right term will be "Change" but not "Reverse". Google is being changed constantly and yes, their so called "new improvements" will change with time. But who are we to complain they index spam and low quality sites? it just give us more opportunities

It won't be possible but may be some other useful update Like boosting high quality sites and low spam score :D

In a word = NO.

Google really have screwed up recently, their HCU was unhelpful, to say the least.

They won't reverse, they will iterate on it. This is how updates will be going forward. The 3 mainstays of SEO will still remain being content, on-page optimisation, backlinks.

No mate, It's not going to happen.

They will consider it as an interim update in the next minor phase. They or anyone never reverse the updates, these days before publishing the updates on mainstream, loads of times they would've tested in staging environments.

They definitely wont reverse it as this would likely confuse a lot of their machine learning algorithms. They will probably manually look into what's going on and keep adding small tweaks once they've tested. I wouldn't be surprised if they're already doing it to be honest because of seen a lot of sites bounce back this week.

my website was hit badly spam update, I lost around 90% traffic of my website, How to recover it?
