Hey all, I'm just wondering if Google *could* some day take down all content created using conversion Ai ?

Do you think its possible?

I believe that if this were to happen, many low-quality but handwritten texts could be unfairly classified as AI-created content.
I agree, maybe they do have tools to analyze the quality and readability of a body of text, but I would be surprised if it can accurately determine if something is AI generated or not.

Spun content on the other hand is a different story, what are your opinions on that?

Hmmm good point.

It's trivial for another well-trained AI to spot another AI. We've seen what happens when 2 AI's are pitted against each other already and it's pretty much exactly what you expect. Whether they use it or not is another question.

I don't think they look for it, yet. (Yandex might be working on it from what I've heard around but that's pretty irrelevant short term).

People say military technology is always 50 years more advanced than civilian tech. Just remember who designs that military tech in the first place, Contractors like Google. And don't forget Google has, as of this year, a trillion-parameter AI which boasts to be 6x more powerful than GPT3. So it's only a matter of time imo

Yes, but I don't think Google minds as long as the content is deemed useful by the algorithm.

Microsoft has exclusive license over GPT-3 so maybe they have an agreement in place otherwise Google could kill their little side-business. But perhaps it's too early because conversion.ai/Jarvis type of content is very small procentage-wise atm.

IMO it depends on the niche and KW competition. However, if you're just using AI generated content on your site then sooner or later it will all go to shit. If Google doesn't today then it will tomorrow. Remember all these tools are here to help make your job easier. Use them to make your writing process smoother and to generate ideas. If you're just copying and pasting the article the tool spits out then you're setting yourself up for failure.

Most of these content generators are popular among foreign folks because their level of written and spoken English is trash. People who classify these tools as 100% competent are those who do not have the ability to properly read and write. AI generated content is already better than writers with broken english working for 30 cents per 100 words.

Hope that makes sense!

It can but not 100% and even a small %age error can lead to a big bunch of pages getting devalued if Google tries to use it. Recently, they said that they don't mind AI created content if its useful to the user.

That's another thing to think about. If anything, google wants that high-quality content to stick around (as long as it's relevant). They want as much data as possible because it's profitable. If anything, maybe they would want to target the lower quality content instead and kick it out of the SERPs. Broken English and just none native content could be at risk in that case.

that gonna be a lot of false positive. Google is still being played with spun contents, I dont think Google will be that smart.

No, by the way if you didn't notice, content is pretty useless on its own for ranking purposes. It's just text and who cares how pretty it is?

5th, 6th, 7th pages is where it is and where it will forever be. Nobody is even trying to rank it on high volume keywords.

If you're looking to rank on low competition long tail low volume keywords, then it won't matter whether it's spun or AI content. Both will get you there.

It would be too resources heavy to check everything againts the algo imo, also they have much more pressing issues to figure out like 100% copied content getting hundreds of millions of traffic for a year and them allowing adsense on that content lol

The reason I am asking is because I am thinking of building a new site just using Conversion Ai.

I don't want to invest time and energy into something if Google may tear it down in the future....

Smart! I am doing internal studies on AI content.
Later I might PM you.

So far handwritten quality content indexes and dances in the SERPS.

AI content can index, dance, then be deindexed completely, and come
back SOMETIMES. AI models for content SaaS need to come from their
own mapping models.

AI for link building itself is a nice idea IMO but for a money site? Experimental.
Not to mention worse UX metrics.

Hey thanks for sharing!
Keep me updated with your testing please.

I think I will hold off on what I was going to do until I get more knowledge about Ai content deindexing.

I think I will hold off

I don't want to be the genesis of you holding back on it.
What I would do is what I am doing...

Pick a micro niche with low KD search terms and spam it with dozens of AI articles.

Don't spend a fortune or time on links.
Ping them with SEO signals tier 2 for testing/indexing purposes.

Even if the project goes to shit you can make sure it's not penalized and sell the aged domain.

The more articles on your site that are detected as being AI-based, the error % gets exponentially smaller.
