Do you think AI will kill coding?

It will completely kill coding without any doubt. However, you should not confuse coding with software development.

I think AI contribute all of the sector but AI can't grasp completely. So don't worry about that just improve and help us.

It will help the programmers design, and AI will do the coding.

It will still need human intervention to supervise the codes and testing.

I know someone who, using a low-code AI app builder for the first time, created work almost on par with junior developers. I taught him a little, and he was able to create a good web app using Claude 3.7 for the code building. If I hadn't told him some keywords like React and Tailwind, he wouldn't have been able to create a good app.

For me, there is an advantage for hard coders who already know the ins and outs of software development. However, people who are highly logical can achieve what we can if they are also interested in learning coding by reverse engineering.

Probably not completely, but.....I just saw a video where a guy made flappy bird (the game) solely with chat gpt without any human coding. I have no idea about coding either but Ai wrote many java and html coded for my website and they all work perfectly fine.
