do you think a good gta5 domain name would sell?

It will probably have trademark issues, so not really worth the hassle. I would imagine they actively pursue infringing domains - although you might be okay if promoting a fan forum or similar.

i wanted to build a forum or members site out of it, but i don't think i have the ability just yet. maybe a joint venture would be the way to go? I've checked other gta5 domain names for sale on godaddy auctions and there's really not much activity going on there, so i'm kind of sitting on the fence with it at the minute.

If you are thinking about forum, then it is okay. Be sure you dedicate this forum only on Gta5, you can make some cash out of it.

But he said he don't want to make a website of it. Just buy a good domain and sell it.
In my opinion, now don't think will be easy to find a short domain directly related with GTA or acronym.

i know this isn't in the right place but i can't post in the JV section just yet, anyway if anyone wants to discuss a jv with this gta5 domain name i'm open to ideas, i went ahead and bought it last week i just really don't have a clue what to do with it haha
Yeah, and there's a reason for that. Not having enough history here to post in the JV section doesn't mean that you can go and advertise your JV opps elsewhere on the forum!
.. and bumping your own thread is also typically frowned upon.
