Do you still check adsense/analytics all the time?

After a long time of planning, I published my first site for monetizing with adsense. I haven't been able to keep my eyes off of the real-time feature from analytics and I keep checking adsense all the time. Does this get better? lol It reminds me of when I got my first smartphone and would always check my email or the web and couldn't put it down.

Do you still constantly check it or has the excitement of seeing a few pennies pop up wore out it's welcome?

well , I am using PIWIK and deleted the analytics account. I do however keep on looking at my adsense (only Google account/service I have left). Now that I care much less about Gs alog changes and analytics I am actually starting to earn more. Eat less of Google to get buffed on G money, go figure :-).

I still check mine all of the time, its kinda annoying though (:|

Yeah, Piwik rocks. And it's not Google. However if you want to flip the site everybody wants to see your analytics...
Do I check adsense/analytics every 5 minutes? No. It's a matter of the number of sites :).
What's more I'm doing internet stuff to get some free time not to click 24 hours per day.

D.

still constantly checking my daily $0.02 a day...beginning to get bored though...

lol I figured it would go down when it gets rolling.
I have 15 sites so I have a tracking app written in php that shows me how many visits I have on each individual site, plus the links that they came from or if they came from google it shows me the keyword they searched to get to my site. It makes things very easy compared to if I had to go to analytics for each site. I use the real time feature to check out a particular site, in the current case a site that has been getting me about $1 a day so far and I am looking for ways to increase that.

You'll get over this as you build more sites as there will be more things to do/track :)

Used to check it a couple of times per hour now, I have daily targets Noon, 5:00 PM, 10:00 PM and 3:00 AM.
Watching money roll in never gets boring.
