Do you rent an office ?

Hello,

Most of us here work from home.

But for those who rent an office, how much do you pay for the rent monthly.

It's already cliche, but it depends on where do you live.

Anyone, I prefer much more than to rent a single office to rent a space in a co-working center, because after working of some time from home, I don't want to sit & work in empty room.
 
Largely depends on location.

My London office costs around $1000 a month for 2 desks. Rest of my staff work from home.
 
I rented a small serviced office at a place like Regis for 14 months

Was roughly $900 a month - 2 desks / internet / phone / couch / decent view

with full office facilities and lunch room obviously - was alot of other businesses there
as well.

What happened was even though its not far away starting working from home more and more
so just cancelled when my contract was up .... yeah they are good but you probably need 3-4 people
to kind of motivate you to show up each day.
 
Yep, i agree.. Depends upon location & size !

$1000 will be one-time advance money for office in India :)

idea of having your very own office is great but nonsence if you work alone and are motivated enough to work at home or in some pub or caffee place :)
although I want to rent a office soon :)
 
I have been thinking about getting an office in a high traffic location just to pick up some local SEO clients. Has anyone ever tried that route?
