I remember fighting with my sisters about who's turn it was to go on AOL. And my mom getting mad cause she couldn't use the phone. goood times...

I remember Yahoo auctions, where they let you sell just about anything, and as far as I remember there were no listing fees. I made my first online cash there selling cigarettes and tobacco from Spain to buyers in the UK where cigs were more expensive.

ETA: And "under construction" pages that had dozens of moving gifs plastered all over them.

And paying almost $40 for my first domain.

I remember as a young teen trying to watch porn... and to just view 1 image would take 10-15min. to fully load and you would sit there wondering if it would download before your parents got home xD!
 
And I remember when everything you ever looked up was some how related to porn. (Early days of search engines)!

dogs..... some how porn sites would rank for that...
