Do you regret drugs ?

I won't do it anymore and am clean for 7+ year now.

Do I regret it, umm sometimes i do.

But what's the point dwelling there.

Sometimes I put my chest up there and say "Been there done that" :D

I am not going to glorify using or not using drugs. Bottom line is whatever works best for you, consciously

Regret actually taking them? No, some of the most amazing experiences possible.

Regret wasting time? Yep, sure.

i regret nothing!! =)

needle never touched me, but i sniffed and ate a lot of different shit..

TBH i regret doing heroin, cause now I always remember how that sucker feels...

weed is legal where I live, so that's what I consume these days... 4-5 times a day, cause watching TV without it is boring... =)

i haven't done anything other than weed in 12 years.

I love you four your five years of work. I hope you understand how powerful the work you done is to the kids who are raised and born into this trouble
Thanks. I actually never wanted to do that, I was originally headed towards disability work. I pretty much thought that I didn't care for people who caused trouble for themselves.

The work changed my prejudiced thoughts. Most of the kiddos are exploited by adults (made to sold drugs for drug money and shelter, molested, etc), the addiction was sometimes caused by their parents and some were another kind of victims.

The thing I pity the most is that none of them got to be kids. Like we think kids to be. When you start using drugs, alcohol and get into an adult kind of living playing video games all weekend or watching movies stops to be fun in a traditional way. It's just old and boring.

The thing is when we're kids that's the only time we truly get to enjoy that kind of old and boring things without worrying about tomorrow etc. Don't know if you guys know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, I stopped working there shortly after my second kid was born. It affects the way you think and atm I need to be a regular daddy for my own children. I might get back to it later when my own kids get to the yuck daddy phase.

Didn't choke or anything @Halch
That's not a tear

Do you think drug can be so addictive that the desire of it can be almost as strong as our need to eat food?
Ofcourse more than food once you have phisical dependency. Reminds me of benzo withdrawals. It is so worse - if you are addicted to benzos and stop it cold turkey, you can die.

Man it's crazy... To think that we can artificially create something stronger than our primary need..
But it makes sense, I can sacrifice a sandwich to smoke a cigarette :D

Man I loved them. But I kinda got bored and stopped. Only scotch and single malts are cheering me up everyday.

Cigarettes is one of the worst drugs to get addicted to along with alcohol. Problem is the availability. Weed, LSD or Mushrooms, 2cb are way safe compared to those (as long as you don't have an history of mental illness).

I think the world is moving towards the right direction. After the legalization of weed i think we will legalize psychedelics.

I dont do drugs. But I Gamble and I think i am an addict. I want to stop but i can't. I tried to stop my gambling for one day and I did. But Now i am back at it again.

As fucked up as it may sound - one of the best way to get off of an addiction is to get addicted to something else (ideally something less damaging).

It's not so strange when you think that all the feelings are just chemical reactions in the brain. How would a drug that causes it to be any different from a real thing.
