do you recommend using something like medium or blogger?

at the moment i dont have any money to buy a domain on wordpress to blog on it yet so i was thinking on using something like blogger/blogspot or medium to publish blogs to i do know that this might not be the best option so thats why iam asking here!
(webhosting is not a problem for me iam a partner with a company so i have almost unlimited web hosting just need a domains)
also i checked and woollie.com is taken! what names are good besides that?

are you going to blog for fun, or as a business? Because if it's for fun, yeah you can use medium / blogger. But if you're blogging as a business / brand and if you don't have $10 / year to spend on your business then I don't know how you'll afford the SEO part which costs a lot of money nowadays.

As for the domain name... no one can recommend any "good" name without knowing what niche you're in (if you even care about EMDs that is), what your brand is, or - in case that you're blogging for fun - what your name is (because you might go with a funky name like JimsPartyBloggingAdventures.blogger.com)

Many questions that need to be answered here...

ye i forgot that part iam planning on blogging about web3 and all the crypto spaces(the different projects, games, developing and how to hack it and earn with all these(legally) ) i do have a crypto domain and i could use it because iam already in the web 3 niche anyways

for main cornerstone articles, you might want to use your own website, then use medium/blogger to publish articles pointing to your main site.

no idea what web 3 is and how it works, but if you already have a domain then why not use that one?? It's much better to start from the beginning with your own domain instead of ranking parasites like medium / blogger and risk losing "your" site when these platforms go down or close your accounts for no reasons

Web3 domains are supported only in crypto integrated browsers, such as Brave.
The domains extensions are .crypto .x .eth .wallet etc..

OP, if you don't have 10 bucks to buy a domain, then start with Medium and join their partner program.

Nah, I wouldn't recommend that. I'd rather use infinity free for free hosting and get a free domain at freenom.
 
Forger about medium. It has become a "closed group" of bloggers and readers. For most of its features you will need a premium account. It will he cheaper if you buy a .com domain and a hosting then use medium as far as making money.
 
There's domains that you can buy for a couple of dollars,
If you have the hosting secured, better go with any of these than blogger or medium blog,
It's better for SEO and brand establishing making things more worth for the long term

alright ty i checked and my .com domain isnt available and i believe .co is taken to what are other good tld's? .xyz .io .dev?

WTF have I just read? You don't have $15 for a .com domain but you are a partner with a company?
 
I wouldn't use those as a blog, maybe tier 2 site.
If you already got free hosting for life go ahead and spend fucking 10$ on a domain.
Save yourself time and trouble.

You'll find most of the best prices there, frequently updated

i know i know iam a giveaway person for there and soon to be promoted for content creation after i have done some more work i will ask/demand a domain as they dont have more people that do work for them in my team
