Do you prefer videos or text threads in this section?

I'll be releasing a series of method threads soon and I'd like to know if you guys prefer a text thread with pictures, a video, or a combination of the two. Please tell me why in addition to answering.

That's completely fair and I appreciate your response. I'm really curious to know how many users are viewing on mobile applications, which could impact their ability to watch a video. Or whether or not they're viewing from work (which wouldn't typically make video or audio very viable).

Video's are good becuase you are able to talk a lot longer then if you wrote it down and can show people a lot more easily how to do something. Just my opinion anyway

I always prefer text threads, hardly ever watch videos on here, and then only in the lounge really. It's good to be able to easily navigate back and forward through the method and use it for reference, if the thread is laid out well.

That's just my opinion, I'm sure there will be people who like each, both, or a combination.

This depends on a lot of factors. Personal preferences and what not.

Me personally, I'd prefer a well organized text thread, with pics maybe. If it was a tutorial on how to set up this and that then definitely a video. But this is just my opinion. Of course, if the information is valuable for the user then he/she will read, watch or learn braille to get the information

For the simple sake of practicality, I'd say text. More specifically, (read: selfishly) I have slow internet and HATE waiting for videos to buffer
