The age of the agency isn’t my main criteria. I focus more on their results, case studies, client reviews, and the skills of their team. Even if the agency isn’t 5 years old, I’m fine working with them as long as they can deliver good performance.

It can be double edged sword. Like if it is old, this is proof that they are reliable. But new can also have advantage that they are updated about recent techniques.

Do not set criteria like that. See the recent reviews and hire them for short period. If they are able to rank your website in that short period, hire them for long duration on better price terms.

Not necessarily. While longevity can indicate stability, I focus more on their current portfolio and results for businesses like mine. A 2 year old agency with brilliant strategists is often better than a 10 year old agency that's outdated. Look for proven success, not just a long history.

Honestly, I don’t focus much on how old an SEO agency is. What matters more is results, case studies, client feedback, and how well they understand your niche.
Some newer agencies are faster and up-to-date with AI + modern SEO strategies. I’ve had a good experience with tmcodez they know SEO well and are really helpful. Age is nice, but results matter way more.

Age means nothing in SEO because the game changes every few months, so a 5-year-old agency is often just stuck using outdated tactics.
I would ignore the founding date and just ask for case studies from the last six months to prove they can actually rank sites right now.

If I'm hiring an agency, the number of years doesn’t matter as much as the proof behind their work, and the best way to choose an agency is to look at their case studies and ranking results. But new agency are not bad because new agencies always think uniquely and follow unique strategies, so I have to say it is wise to take services from new agencies as well.
