Do you pay for web hosting using crypto?

I think that a client should be offered a choice of payment options.
In this case both web hosting provider and web hosting client will be satisfied.

I don't understand crypto well enough to trust it. And it's more expensive than money anyway
Depends on the crypto for example litecoin has minimal fees and can be bought easily.

I am currently using my hosting with crypto
As a payment. It is a offshore hosting company

it may be, but I still can't get over the KYC issue, which is another very good (for me) reason not to use crypto.

The whole point of cryptocurrencies was to be decentralized and private, but before this industry even took off it's already 1000% in the hands of the same mobsters (the ultra rich CEOs of most companies on Earth) that rule this world. So, what's the point then? Until a coin like Monero becomes the 1st choice of payments worldwide without anyone (and I literally mean ANYONE, not even God himself) being able to control, hoard, or manipulate it in any way I'll just stick to the lesser (and more familiar) evil: the paper money :)

I assume you're talking the KYC of certain exchanges, right? I understand, but still, you can't move money around without even stricter KYC.

that's one of the many problems I have with society: you can't even breathe without your bank, your government, google's CEO, and the janitor in your office building tracking you. We're not free, and it's not normal...

Yes some hosting providers accept payments in crypto. But they are rare. With time we will see that crypto will become the number 1 payment method taking over card payments. As crypto payments are cheap and fast.
