Somewhat new to local seo, but I've done citations for 3-4 sites now and haven't saw any movement. Or is the point of it just a piece of the puzzle to reach the three pack?

You have done citations for 3-4 sites, do you mean that you have created 3 -4 separate entities, or separate locations of the same entity?

Generally speaking the citations are no-follow? So for local area verification it will back up your more effective listings like GMB.

These citation sites have intervals of indexing, so for some it may take 30 days to be indexed and link crawled to your website.
