Do you need to keep adding content to PBN sites?

How much content should u have per site? Do they need fresh content? If they do its a real pain!

Some will tell you that they feel the need to add 'fresh' content regularly...
I, on the other hand, do not add content after placing the links that I wanted to place, and have not had any issues.

I agree. Just add enough content as you need for your links.

Since you are asking in the black hat section, my answer is that you add as little content as you can whilst still avoiding a red flag with Google - so no single page sites, but you can probably get away with between 5 and 10 unique articles per site - no need to update once you reach this sort of level.

If you were to ask in the white hat section, then I might have said that you should try and build each PBN site into a mini authority in its own right, but I would only do this if you are in a competitive niche or you are going all out by building a single, large money site and you want to reduce the risk of it going down the pan in the long term. These types of PBN sites will require more content at more regular intervals.

But then, I am attempting to stay ahead of the game, so I am beginning to use the latter strategy for the majority of my PBNs now.

If you want to make things look natural, you might want to add content, but its not really needed.

I tried adding content monthly and adding just enough content to place my link. Truthfully, I found no difference. I would definitely add a few posts before dropping in your link, but any more is unnecessary.

Depending which answer you get the most on this thread, do the opposite (or a bit differently). Always steer slightly away from what everyone else is doing. But I guess it depends on your goals, your resources, and if you care about future proofing or not.

Adding content regularly will help to refresh your page and it will not make your site just for PBN.

Adding fresh content regularly may make it seem more natural.
