Do You Need Proxies If Everything Is Done Manually?

Basically exactly as the title says. I plan on running 3-5 Instagram accounts from the same phone (maybe two), and I have multiple numbers for phone verification. I do however plan on using the app InsTrack to track my unfollowers and do my unfollowing there, I believe this app works on Instagram's API though, does anyone know anything about that?

I plan on following / unfollowing fairly aggressively. I barely "like" pictures, and almost never comment. I post regularly from my phone. I currently do this for two accounts.

Do I need proxies for this? It could be somewhat annoying to always be switching on my phone, especially since I'm not using FollowLiker or any bot at all.

I have seen conflicting answers to this around the forum, so I was hoping to get a solid answer from some of you amazing people. Thank you!

No, you don't need proxies for this. I have been running almost 13 accounts on the same phone with the same IP and there's no problem whatsoever. everything will be fine as long as you use their API. In order to run multiple accounts you can also download Instagram app's clones, (but doing signing in and out on the main account is also fine) which will be same but with a different name so you can open multiple instances of Instagram. But that will consume extra RAM.

Thank you so much! Do you use an app or clones? I would really like to use InsTrack for my unfollowing since it makes it so easy to switch between accounts but I have no idea if it works on Instagrams API. Is there a way to find out? I already sent them an email.

if it's anything like Twitter then no - I run 5-6 accounts manually from my phone. Also if it's manual then is less likely to flag up as well (more variation in activity).

I run 11 accounts on my phone, sometimes on my iPad too, with the same IP, and 4 of these accounts also run on FollowLiker. I don't use any proxy at all.

i wonder how you create 11 or 13 accounts on 1 device. i created 9 on my galaxy note (on different non-proxy IPs days apart) and could not do the 10th. it says too many accounts created on this device.

I didn't create some of these accounts. But I can definitely run more than 11 on my iPhone as I've done that before.
