Do you need proxies for gramdominator or similar bots?

I'm trying to find a bot as simple as instagress because I don't know a lot about how servers/proxies work. Are they necessary for Gramdominator?

You never need proxies, but if you have 3 + accounts on the same IP, they can all get chain banned.

Proxy is optional, but recommended when you run higher amount of accounts (more than 3-5). There's nothing complex about them. When you buy them, you're given an IP address and a port, which you put in the software and that's about it. Everything else is set up by the proxy company.

Got it, so in my case where I only run one account, it's not necessary?

for less then 3 accounts proxies are not necessary

I would also add that it depends on what you're doing with the account. If it's a churn and burn CPA account then your IP might get banned if you create too many accounts on it that get banned. If it's a HQ account then you should be fine without a proxy.
