Do you love your country? i dont!!

Hello guys,

just curious do you love your native country? if yes or no can you please explain why and which country im curious to know about other countries(i travelled over 21 countries mostly asia and africa, lets see if our experiences are similar)


Im from india and why i hate it:

-Very racist people
We are divided by cast,religion,language. I can say lot of people in my state hate each other. im not sure about rest of india though

-too many people
the city i live in "hyderabad" is not mega city but we have over 9 million population ( google give wrong figure though)

-Un imaginable pollution
You cannot believe it, its like war zone. im sure i will die at 50 or 60 with this pollution

-No value of money whatsoever
Every thing is getting expensive, specially entertainment is very expensive and they do 15% vat and 5% service tax on every food and drink.

-Its all about money and marriage
No matter what, every one keep talking and thinking about how save the earned money, then spend that money on marriage

-Night life?
forget it, we only sleep at night

-women?
They are bullshit!! every women want get married and be treated as princess?

-city is still in 1950s
if some couple sit in park and do some romance, police do try to arrest ? humans cant touch each other in public? its no less than saudi arabia



Why this hate speech?
It?s not a hate speech, its an opinion. This is my advice to foreign expats who are thinking about relocating to Hyderabad.

I born in Russia, and as well I do not like a lot my country, I like people, traditions but it is not country to live in: cold, depressive, expensive and stupid system. I fell my self much better staying by the red sea all over the year.

hi i m also from india, most of things you are said tht's right but i don't understand why you are saying negative sides of india, thr is also positive things about india like culture and history , INDIANS are not racist, india is place is give birth of many great persons,india is the place many whr foreigner wants to learn from india more .....

I don't like country as a concept. Humans should be free to travel, even if that means they will be shot on the process.

Loving your country is propaganda beat into you by 99% of countries so that you are more forgiving of your elected/non-elected/monarchical leaders sins.

Question the actions of those in power and it's YOU DON'T LOVE YOUR COUNTRY!

It's like a Fox News rebuttal of which there is never any concrete proof for or against.

People should respect each other, countries are nothing more than man made lines drawn on a map.

I'm originally from a country located south east of Asia which is known as Malaysia. I never actually lived there for long, which explains my limited knowledge on my native language, but we go there every year and it's quite a pleasant country when you live in the Middle East where it rains once or twice every year whereas Malaysia has a downfall everyday. What I hate is how there's loads of criminals in Malaysia. Last holiday, some dude broke into our car to steal our iPads using whatever device he used to track them. I prefer living, here in the Middle East, Qatar though.

I Like my country but hate the politicians governing it.

Are you not free to move somewhere else if you don't like it?

I feel the same way about my country. Sadly... : (

I am also from India but unlike you I LOVE INDIA

Why because of a few reasons.

1) It is a land of opportunity though not every place is the same in India there are many places where you could go and make a lot of money if you are smart enough

2) Our food is one of the tastiest food I have ever tasted in my life. From north to south we have many dishes that are still unheard by anyone who has not travelled here

3) There is value for money in India. One can eat with 10U$D cents on the street and it will be somewhat healthy meal. Our clothes are cheap compared to many countries and they are of good quality too

4) It is one of the very few countries in the world which has snowy moutains, desert, sea side and green mountains all in one country

5) Finally we have the never to say die attitude. After independence we have gone at a much faster pace than any other country also our democracy is somewhat stable which gives you a better life with each passing year.

Remember no country is perfect every country has their own problems.

I spent 4 months in India, the amount of hassle I got as white foreigner will put me of ever visiting again, which is a shame

I think it is much better to live in your country than living in the philippines...

Possible but no easy, you must either move on education (which im not interested ) or must be eligible with exceptional experience in some technical niche(which im not eligible as i only know how to build links

1:This propaganda, every country have their opportunity depending on their talent, if what you said is true why we ahve one of the lowest immigration rates(incomming?) and why we have one of the highest immigration rates(out going)? and why is out per capita so low? does that mean 80% of indians are not smart enough?

2: i dont have too much complains on food thought, however i think you never travelled other places? or never eat other country food, there are amazing cuisines all overworld

5:sorry what you are talking is bullshit, we grew much slower than many countries, at the time of out independence countries like japan,korea,germany,russia,poland are dead farms.... see where there are now, even sri lanka have higher per capita than us.

It is possible and sorry you had that experience, but i had the same experience in some white countries. so few people are equally shit in even european countries.

OP, the grass on the other side always appear greener. I'm an Indian and I literally feel blessed to be born here.
Just imagine yourself in countries where you can't walk freely because if you do, you will probably get shot in the head. Remember the Pak incident just a few days ago where a teenager was killed in a suicide bomb and saved his classmates or the case of Malala.

Our country provides the best service to its citizens during natural calamities and terrorist attacts.

Some other countries can't even provide basic nutrition in Africa.

I agree our country is CORRUPT...like hell, but still IT IS A LOT BETTER THAN OTHER WAR TORN COUNTRIES.
Watch a few documentaries and you will realize this

Don't love your country , go make it better or migrate . writing on internet about it will solve nothing .

I lived in Hyderabad for 6 months even though I am a foreigner to India. I accepts his facts apart from what he says about women. May be I have not seen the worst part.

I will answer you briefly to your questions.

1) We have higher outgoing population because we are opportunist people with a good business mind. If you see Indian people abroad we are very hard working and take up every challenge. Why do you think Indian people who migrated to Africa in early 19 century as doing so well today.

2) I have been to 50+ countries till date. I live outside India permanently for the last 7 years so I must have tried many different food types this world has to offer

3) At the time of Independence we were left with nothing but a bunch of illiterate people. Our leaders had no experience in running a vast country as big as India. Our biggest strength and weakness is our population. Many of the thing you are complaining is because of vast population. My advice to you is earn more money and see the difference yourself with the quality of life you can get.

Best thing about Indian women- More than 90% of them are virgin before their marriage. They value it a lot. Western women disgust me. About 95% of them have lost it even before 15.
No sense of morality and self respect whatsoever. They sleep with any guy whom they find hot.

Cool story ~!!!!!!!!! Its like fucking 11 hours of LOAD SHEDDING per day !! ( * if you do not know that then click here ) in my country and i still love my country !!! The highest rate of load shedding was 18 hours a day !! Have greedy leaders who knows only know how to fill their pockets !!! The richest getting RICHER and the poorest getting poorer !!!! And our system is shit !!!! Corruption all the way ... every where !!! Most of my friends are settled abroad and i am the only guy who is staying here !! Just because i love my country !!

You should be happy you have enough resources and fast internet ! Internet here is crap and unreliable !!!

It's not the country you hate, its just the system and the policies bro !!! Keep calm and love your country !!
