I love the threads app since the zuck launched it

Haven't tried it yet. Never was a fan of Twitter, but doubtful Threads is any better. Why do you love it, or think it's better?

The app looks promising. The ability to repost to instagram looks especially interesting. But the most important thing I'm waiting for is the addition of Threads as an ad placement in the Ads Manager.

They are trying to get the 1B users before launching the ads, luring the users first with the 'ad free' experience. Shouldn't take too long though imo

It's very important to show Twitter that it can be replaced! Since taken over by Musk, they have made such a huge change to over all every aspect of Twitter that has impacted an entire economy present around it. This has to stop and threads will make Musk little responsible before making changes

Musk bought Twitter to unlock free speech from the gate keepers.

Twitter is the new town square.

And there are certain people who don't want people to talk openly about certain topics.

What's so good about it? It's like Twitter 1.0, for snowflakes.

No, for basically two reasons:

1 - You can't create a fake account (you have to create a fake instagram and then create the fake threads, too much work)

2 - this is the main reason actually, you cant search for topics and hashtags, only for accounts, this is one of the tools I mostly use on twitter

Yes, it is a cool app but I am a little confused. I have seen that people are posting the same content on threads that they post on IG. It was supposed to be the app like Twitter to share the content like that. Moreover, it is linked to your IG account and if you delete your threads account, your IG account will also be deleted.
