Do you listen music while working?

Yes quite often, but what I listen to depends on my mood & also the type & time of day ( sunny and hot is usually the chillout tunes, other days it'll be 80s/90s tunes ). Evening might be something more classical.

Sometimes it depends on what is on the playlist I click on.

Sometimes music helps me focusing, other times I need to be almost in silence. Does music help you focusing, or does it do the opposite?
smooth music helps you to concentrate not too much volume dim music helps a lot to complete more work.

Try this out.. Listen to soft, instrumental music during work. You will be more productive. Music that has vocal, is much more distracting; simply because your brain will try to understand the lyric no matter if you intend to or not. This is the case atleast, with me.
Share few Youtube links if you can remember. I am not good to find good instrumental music.

I love this one, although it's based on Mozart's work..

Most of the time I play the same song over and over again while working o_O low volume
Sounds weird but it helps me focus
White noise are also great

It depends...if i'm working on something light then i like listening but if i'm doing something that requires my full attention then i don't listen.

I THINK dumb people listen to music and study/work while they were in school.
I don't think smart/successful people listen to music while studying or developing projects, unless it's extremely easy. Can't really study critical thinking subjects like calculus or programming types of things, unless they want to get an F+ or fail.

Sometimes yes but very loudly, sometimes not because I have headache. (Headache caused by loud music...)

Yes, 8 hour study trance music. It's instrumental, I find lyrics take me away from work. I haven't gotten sick of it yet but when I do I'll listen to like lazer hawk or pertubator or something.

Yes, music - or I find even ear plugs help me zone out. Just something to help focus.

Depends on what I am doing. If it's "busy" work that doesn't require a lot of focus/concentration I'll listen to all sorts of music, from Steve Reich to Pat Metheny. With work that requires focus/concentration I have to have silence. Interesting topic! :)

I usually listen to electronic music before I start working.
later when I start working I turn off the music (it's a very big distraction in my opinion)
