I see that superhero movies are still getting pumped out in massive quantities and I honestly don't understand the appeal. Hasn't it gotten old yet? Sure, there have been some good ones, but a lot of them seem to me like a formulaic action soap opera by now. Do you guys enjoy them, do you keep up with them or are you like me in that they are not your cup of tea?

My favorite superhero movie is Guardians of the Galaxy which I enjoyed a lot.

First paragraph almost sounds like you prefer villains, lol

There are classica that will always be retold in various ways to keep the idea going.
 
i find them too long and boring, what the purpose of wathing a movie if you know who will win in the end

It's hilarious. Takes the piss out of the whole stupid over-serious character of Batman and has some really funny references to other stuff.
 
I usually enjoy a good Marvel movie. I need to get my ass in gear and catch up since Endgame.

I really wanted to like DC's Suicide Squad. Reminds me of a table top RPG called Necessary Evil. Players play villains and are tasked with saving the world due to aliens killing or capturing all the super heros. Whenever I run NE, it goes about how you'd expect. :D But the SS has the villains but really lacks an engaging story.

Haha fair enough, everyone’s got their own version of "cinematic universe" I guess. Let’s just say we’ve all seen... different kinds of origin stories.
 
I like most superhero movies because I can turn off my brain and just enjoy the fun. Same reason I watched all 14 or whatever fast & furious etc.

Doesn't have to be life-changing with deep impact on a educational level. I'm cool with big plotholes and crap as long as they're good actors and there's lots of explosions and fights.

Oh, Kick ass was very good, but it's more of a send up of the genre. The parodies and the port versions are a different (apparently better ) genre.
 
Never liked them... I think they just can be monetized very easily, so it's the reason why they are everywhere.
 
I really like the movie Superman. It's a pretty exciting action movie. I've been following this series for a long time and looking forward to the next parts. It's an action movie but it's also very funny, giving viewers entertaining moments.
