1 month ago i started running 40-50 mins in the park, 3-4 times per week
because i noticed i just sit with my laptop all day with no physical activity
see some slight progress now

anyone here like jogging?
how many km do you run? and do you wear special running shoes?

I hate running, but I do it almost every day. Aiming to run my first ultra-marathon at the end of the year in November, closing in on 80 - 90 km per week. As for shoes, it helps getting fitted for the right shoes, it helps reduce injury.

Hate running but love walking there was a time when I used to walk like 5-6 kms daily(this for 9 years) until 2015 last quarter my father bought a car(direct traction to car lol without owning a bike ) and I got lazy but a walk of 30 mins daily is a must!

Love it. Today after a doctor visit I put on my workout clothes, sneakers and ran for 15 mins. I am slim so running feels like I am a feather being blown by wind. It is such a good experience and very enjoyable :)

I used to be a major proponent of running. My free time has gotten so limited lately and my to-do lists have grown significantly to the point where I could spend that same time getting chores, outside maintenance and landscape work done and sweat out a couple pounds.

BUT.

I've made it a personal goal to run 1,000 miles in my 29th year (which starts next Friday). So I should probably start stretching now...

Yes, it's good for you. Jogging's safer than running, but even walking is great for your body.

Of course, you should use new or at least very comfortable and good quality shoes. :)

I do run from time to time, I wish I could do it every single day.

No, but I love doing heavy squats, deadlifts or benches.

I LOVE Running !! But I don't do it like a shore, I hate shores. I only run when I feel like it, and I feel like it pretty much a lot since I'm sitting all the time. For the shoes, I use any.

no... hate jogging and running, climbing mountains is very fun and kicks my ass physically
