So you are really struggling with the comments on your blog for sure and that?s why you are reading this post. Don?t worry go through the very end of the post and hopefully your time won?t be wasted. Comments are greatly related with the succession of a blog. The more comments will have on your blog the more successful of your blog will be. So you know comments are very very important for your blog but yet you are not getting comments on your blog. That?s why today in this article I?ll be telling you why you?re not getting expected comments on your blog post. #1 Title is Not Catchy According to me the most important thing of a blog post should be it?s title. You may write some outstanding content on your blog but no one will check it out if they don?t click on your title. You only have 3 seconds to hook your readers with your blog post. That?s why whenever you publish a blog post make sure the title is catchy and attractive enough to grave the attraction of your potential readers. Do remember, attractive title=more click=more comments #2 Content is Boring Whatever you are producing is just a simple pitch of content but nothing more than that. You can?t go long with that types of content. People are reading your blog but after reading 3 or 4 lines they going away from your blog only because of your poor content. If they don?t properly read your content then how they leave comments on your blog post? So you must write great and engaging content so that whenever they will read your content they will be bound to make comments on your post. And remember only 5-6 percent of readers actually make comments so you have to work very very hard to get those tiny percentages. #3 Not Adding value Please ask yourself why your readers will comments on your blog? Do you really adding value to them? If you write content only for posting on your blog then its totally valueless. You have to create a reason to comments. If your content can not solve my problem then why should I comments on your blog saying thanks for this post because it solves my problem blah blah blah. So you have to write valuable content that can solve your reader?s problem. #4 You are Not Making Relationship Blog is all about community. To be successful you must build your community. You just write post on and on and on but don?t visit others blog. If you don?t visit others blog then how can you know about your readers? So you have to visit your niche blog and try to understand what they like and what they want. Loss yourself at the crowd and make relationship with them. #5 Poor Thinking You think if you comments on other blogs then they may feel you are a newbie and not a good blogger. You have built your mind that only newbie comments on other blogs to learn and get backlinks, pro-bloggers doesn?t. You may ask me why Dareen Rowse don?t comments on other blogs? The answer is very easy, He is already on the apex of blogging niche and he doesn?t need any kind of exposures anymore but you need. Even most of the pro-bloggers like him don?t have enough time to comments on other blogs but you have plenty of time to do that. Study their history, they also used to make comments on other blogs when they were at our positions. #6 Ego You are so selfish. You only want someone should comments on your post and you won?t do that. You think, why I should comments on other blogs? They will comments on my blog cause I?m senior from the other bloggers. That?s a big problem and I?ve seen some bloggers with this types of attitude. They don?t respect other bloggers but want to get shine in life. How Ridiculous! #6 You Feel Shame to Ask Sometimes specially the new bloggers feel shame to ask for comments. They think it is something like begging. But no my friends its not like that. Its not mandatory that you have to know everything. So ask your readers what else they want to add on your content? If you write about different kind of tips then ask them if they know any other tips to make your content even better. Or ask them did your post really help them to solve their problem? So there are many way you can ask them to comments on your blog. So feel free to ask your readers every now and then. #7 You are Using Captcha It feels really disgusting if I see any kind of captcha while commenting on any blog. I know you don?t want to tolerate any spammy comments but for this reason you can?t use any kind of captcha for this. Its really a big obstacle for getting comments on your blog. To get rid of spam you may use Akismet plugin on your blog. Its a great plugin which can help you to stay away from spammy comments. #8 You are Not Responding It doesn?t make any sense and good manner if you not respond on comments. You have written content for your readers and they loved it that?s why they commented on your post but what happens when you remain silent? When a potential commenter will see that you are not responding then they will never ever comment on your blog. Sometimes they even can think you are not the actual writer of the content that?s why you are silent. That means it will be a great destruction of your reputation and your blogging future. So whenever you will receive any comments try to reply back as soon as possible. #9 Register to Comment I don?t know why some bloggers and webmasters do this. I have faced this kind of issues in so many times. After reading the whole post, when I scroll down to leave comment I?m alarmed Please ?register first to leave comments?. That was totally annoying and I had to stay away from that site forever. So I?ll personally request you to please don?t ask your readers to register first to comments. Otherwise no one have to destroy you because you are good enough to destroy yourself. #10 Spammy Comments If you accept everything, whatever it is doesn?t matter then I?m afraid I can?t leave comment on your blog post. The spammy comments are nothing but garbage for a blog and I think its one kind of environment pollution for a blog. You won?t find anyone who loves garbage so all you have to do is moderate your comments before approve it. Now It?s Your Time What do you think, is there is any other reasons that forces your readers to not to comments. I think there should be some other reasons, so please let me know about those?
