hey guys, i need something that will keep a news blog current. do you guys know what would work?

But yeah, you can use autoblog samurai, if you want content taken from other sites.
 
Do you mean you want to take content from other sites and automatically update it on your site? (ie an autoblog).

If so PM me. I have a few autoblogs that are doing well at the moment so I'll give you a quick guide to setting one up.
 
WP-Robot is pretty good too. And Wp-O-Matic if you need a free version

WP ********* is great for this as it also auto tweets which helps build backlinks and bring you traffic. I've used it for about 4 months now on 10 autoblogs and they are all getting good traffic and making some adsense income.
 
The thing is if you use wp robot you need to change some things, or it leaves a big footprint
 
What about feed my inbox?
You can get 5 different feeds for free.
Its easy ,look at tutorial if you are stuck.
