Hi Everybody,

I have a question. I am in a new role in a 9-5 job and have to be trained in the issues that are very complex for me at this initial stage. I am trained by an instructor who sits with me at my desk and shows me on my PC screen what I should be doing in terms of using special company software for specific processes. As I said, it's quite difficult for me and I need a screen recorder to record what I do on my PC while doing training. It will help me go through every new topic again.

I know there are many screen recording software but I need something that will work in the background, i.e. that the instructor will not see that such a software is running, for obvious reasons.

Can you recommend something?
Thanks

Spending countless hours of searching/research, and the best tool that i found is https://obsproject.com/
And its free.

Its a bit complicated, took me 40 minutes trial and error + watching tutorial on YouTube, how to use it.
Once I know how to use it (took me less than 1 hr), I think its the best screen recorder ever use + advance.

Use to record gaming video on Steam.

lol don't listen to these guys, every big youtuber uses OBS. Learn how to use OBS.

Yes, i use OBS Studio for youtube tutorials, and its probably the most flexible, as well as being open source. Love it when a plan comes together.

Are you using windows 10 (Probably works in windows 8 as well, not sure)? You won't need any extra software. Just press Win + G.

Njoy

Agree with Pinguspy some things are worth learning properly and the difference they make is unreal.
