Do you keep up with the news?

I used to be a news junky. Then I noticed I can't change shit and the news usually pisses me off. So I no longer care as much.

During the pandemic I tried to learn as much as possible about the virus, but also not interested anymore.

I now go after things that interest me specifically. Cryptos, tech, IM, etc.

First thing I do when I woke up is to read the news, and the last thing I do before I go to sleep is also to read the news

True, true.

Though an eye should be kept out, like, I remember I was living in a city for a few years where from time to time they would make an announcement that no one should drink water from the tap for a few days, because they found some toxin or whatever. Now if you pay no attention, and you don't talk to people, you won't know.

And then someone told me that the other day my country was like 2 minutes away from going to war. WTF? I had no idea. I should have an idea, so I can look for the exits if shit hits the fan. But not look for the exits after it has hit the fan.

So yeah, it may be beneficial to keep an eye out for the local news at least. But not too much of an eye out, because money crypto IM tech :p
 
What news? I don’t bother. :p

Look, we aren’t polluticians. We don’t need to know unless it’s a national security issue. Let’s focus on what we shine at… IM and related stuffs. ;)

I try not to keep up too much with the news, as I feel like it's constant negativity and fear, since it's the best way to keep us reading/watching/listening. Weirdly enough, I get made aware of most news by the memes my friends send me. As odd as it might sound lol
 
I try to keep up with the news, especially around cryptocurrency and American politics.
 
Nope, not at all !
I don't see the point. And people around here like to gossip a lot, so I get to know what is happening in my country, at least news about politics and socio-economics, even if I don't want to :/
