Not necessary, but better if you know little php, html, js and css if you want more advantage and avoid trouble because un-compatible themes, plugin and core,
sometimes you will got few trouble about database because unstable host or plugin, so you must learn how to optimize db..
just try it.. signup free hosting and use free domain to learn.. if you got trouble, just post what error you got..

No, you need not to learn any code, but once you start mess around wp function, you might require php learning.

You don't need to learn to code to build or manage a WordPress site.
Still, you need some basic tutorials on WordPress to make things happen smoothly.
Like adding pages, creating a menu, sidebar widget, adding plugin etc.
These are basic things you have to learn. And it's easy.
